Fragrance oil buying guide

Start with the finished product, then the scent

A scent direction is useful for discovery, but the intended application determines what must be checked before approval. Share whether the formula is a soap, candle, diffuser, cosmetic or perfume, along with its carrier and destination market. Shortlist individual oils by aroma, then request the applicable use information and test each one in the finished system.

Is one fragrance oil suitable for every product format?

No. Use information and performance are specific to the material and application. A fragrance selected for a candle should be assessed separately before it is considered for a cream or room spray.
