Define the liquid format and filling package
Describe whether the product is intended as hand or body soap and what container or dispenser it will use. Assess viscosity, the surfactant system and the effect of any proposed fragrance or color in the filled sample.
Can I add an extract to a prepared liquid formula?
Only after checking the selected base and the addition with the supplier. A change can affect viscosity, preservation or stability, so evaluate the finished product rather than assuming the base remains unchanged.
